Nonconformism is the refusal to conform to common standards, conventions, rules, customs, traditions, norms, or laws. In specific usage Nonconformism (usually capitalized), however, refers to the Protestant Christians of Englandand Wales who refused to "conform", or follow the governance and usages of the Church of England.-wikipediaAnyways i'm talking about the first sentence.In simple language a non-conformist is someone who stands up for what he believes and dosen't give a damn for what anyone says or thinks.I am a non-conformist and many of my friends are too.But what i have recently realized is that there are many wannabe non-conformists.After all this is the age of being different and saying what you feel etc etc but there is a very huge difference between a non-conformist and a wannabe non-conformist.I'll try to explain through these examples.non-conformist:I hate converse shoes.friend:why?they are so cool!non-conformist:I hate anything that covers my foot...i prefer open sandals..(this is the answer i would give but there can be various answers)wannabe non-conformist:I hate converse shoes.friend:why?they are so cool!wannabe non-conformist:Everybody wears them,they are so stupid!You are such a wannabe.non-conformist:I love Twilight.Friend:But you are a non-conformist how can you like what everybody likes.non-conformist:So what if everybody likes it,i don't try to be different for the heck of it!If i like something no matter how common it is,i will say i like it.wannabe non-conformist:Twilight is sick.Friend:You read it?wannabe non-conformist:I'm not wasting my time reading something everybody goes mad behind.I'm different.I don't read or do things what everybody does.You are such a loser if you like Twilight.From the above example you must have understood what i want to say.A true non-conformist dosen't wear only black or has a hundered piercings to show that she/he is different.Rather she/he might wear the most odinary clothes and like what many people like but the only difference will be that they don't like the things they like because everybody does or because its a new trend,they genuinly like those stuff.So if you claim to be a non-conformist or say you are different then think twice wether you put efforts into being different or its just how you are.

Slumdog Millionaire
I know i'm writing this post a bit late but anyways i choose to write about this movie as it's plot revolves around India.Being an Indian i was initially very excited because this movie made it big worldwide but after listening to the story i was dissipointed.
This movie potrays India in a very bad light.The name itself is insulting as it calls the people living in slums dogs and even though i love dogs and don't see it as an insult but i'm sure the word is used in a bad way.You might ask ''But isn't this all there in India?'',''Aren't the conditions in the slums just as it is potrayed in the movie?''The answer is ''Yes,whatever this movie showed wasn't false at all''.Sadly all of it happens in India.But what i want to say is only that as much as all this is a part of India someone forgot to show the beautiful developed part of India.
After the movie Madonna visited Indian slum areas and was disgusted.I had a good laugh.So much trouble to see some ugly sights!Name one country which dosen't have poverty,crimes,bribery,discrimination,terrorism etc.Sadly only India is in the limelight for all such stuff.Also please understand that it is only 62 years since we achieved our freedom and the Britishers had robbed alot from my nation.The development we made in these 62 years is incredible and we are developing day by day.I am writing this post today because tomorrow is our Independence Day.I salute my country for all it has given me and for contributing in making me the person i am today.Vande Mataram.

Until recently everything i didn't like,i hated.I would say stuff like ''I hate this show'' or ''I hate that thing'' etc without understanding the enormity of what i was saying.It was a black and white situation.I would either love something or hate it.I didn't realize how passionate the words 'love' and 'hate' are.Recently i was overhearing the conversation of a few adults from my family while acting like i'm reading a book(because they say i'm to small and dumb to understand what they say ) so they were talking about something when somehow the topic reached on 'hate' and when 1 of them said 'Hate binds you to the person you hate'.Hate makes you attached to the person you hate in a way that very difficult to explain.It makes you think about that person every once in a while or maybe many times a day.Thats the sadest part of it.They way it makes you think about that person just the way you do of your loved ones.Think of some person who you don't like but at the same time you don't hate.Like some grumpy shop keeper who makes a sour face whenever you walk in his store or maybe even some person in school/college/work who you don't like for some habit of theirs but it dosen't bother you much.You might think of them only when you see them but not otherwise.Yet many a times we say we hate them.But it's not that way.When you truly hate someone you think of that person many times a day and when you think of them you feel a horrid kind of feeling.That person you can say you truly hate.But if you think of it hating someone actually astes minutes of your day which you spend thinking about them.Isn't that kind of stupid?Isn't that binding you in a relationship with that person even if it is one of hate?I thought about my 'List of Peple i Hate' and realized i don't really HATE anyone of them.It made me feel good and nice.Give your list of people you hate a check and see if you truly hate anyone of them,and if there is someone then decide wether you like being binded to them or you'd rather forgive and set yourself free.Mind you that dosen't mean you need to become friends with that person.It's just an internal feeling from the heart where you forgive them for whatever wrong they did to you.

It's the climbSo you must have noticed that her lyrics are quite inspirational and shes not just another stupid pop singer who sings only break-up songs(atleast that what many of them sing about)Even though the pics are bad i'm sure she didn't want them online.Its the work of some super smart hacker who dosen't have a life.Anyways many teenagers go through that phase of taking sexy pics of themselves.So i think she shouldn't be bashed up by everyone so badly and her songs should be appreciated because many of them are really good and make sense.As for the role model thing i don't think a child should go so far with their addiction for superstars that they start coping them.A parent should see to it that their child stays in control.This is just my view point on the topic and even though i don't like Miley much but i sure listen to her songs.

No Such Thing

Today i sat online for 8 hours
and i realized that i seriously need to GET A LIFE.So i'm going to make a list of things to do to make my life a tad bit interesting and which can keep me away from the computer.- I will (no matter how lazy i feel)go for a walk every single day.
- I will clear out my wardrobe and give away everything i haven't used in the past 2-3 years.
So that i can go shopping and refill my wardrobe with great new stuff.
- Since my best friend just broke a shopping plan of ours cause she wants to go with her mom i guess i'll have to make the trip alone.(I don't really think i'll end up doing this i'm scared of crowds)
- I will figure out a way to read that romantic novel i've been hiding waiting for my mom to go somewhere so that i can read and giggle all i want.I have loads of them.
- Go around helping mom in her chores so that she gets extra happy and showers me with blessings(read.....money)
- Force dad to buy my new cellphone quickly so i can download a 100 songs on it for college travelling.
- Sit and plan out my career.(this will be the 1435778th time i'm doing this....anyway lets try 1 more time)
- Sit and think how i can get atleast 5 comments per post on xanga.
- Plan out a skin care routine.
- Watch all the t.v serials i've missed due to my comp addiction.(8 hours!!*shivers*)
- Click lots of photos with my sis.She's the only company i have and shes only 8
- Learn japanese.
